Hi all,

I am an experienced backpacker (unexperienced in high altitudes) but fit and always up for a challenge. I am currently researching through the forum for reputable tour groups, but thought I would also post in case someone has a trip organized and is looking for an extra person.

I am obviously conscious of budget but want to ensure guides are paid a fair wage and I'd rather spend an extra $100 if it means quality and safety. If you're interested, I've traveled all over (due in large part to great recs through this forum) and am game for variable timing.

Alternately, as I am sifting through the vast archive of recommendations, if someone has a local tour guide they highly recommend who might be able to fit me into a group climb, I would be very grateful for the recommendation.

Thank you,
Kate

There are various companies recommended on here from time to time, do a search and you might find some of these.

The following link can be useful on your searching on which company to go with.

It's probably too late, but I am signed up for an 8-day Lemosho climb starting Wednesday 7th December. I am going solo because I couldn't find a group climb that fit my dates, but would welcome another or others.

The cost per person for one was $1955 but per person for 2 or more would be $1710: this is from Moshi with hotel night before and after, but without airport pickup.

By the way I was the person who posted before and then deleted my post; that was because I significantly changed my mind about the tour operator I mentioned in that post, after more research.
