Hotel Karafuu still running?

If you mean the rather expensive one on the east coast north of Bwejuu, then yes, I'm pretty sure it was still running when I was there last a couple of months ago. Maybe they just changed the name or the website?

karafuu is still running, but they have problems with management who probably simply forgot to renew the contract with the provider... i would suggest you choose another place anyway, there are much nicer options in that area. try kichanga lodge or hakuna majiwe. if you wanna go to an all inclusive club, try ocean paradise in kiwengwa- much better option!
