Planning on leaving Paris for Tanzania on January 17 and returning between Feb 3 and 9. How much is airfare within Tanzania (Mwanza - Dar) and how advisable is it to buy last minute one way flights in both Paris and Dar (for the return)?

I flew from Kigoma to Dar on a flight with fewer people on it that the average dala-dala, so it would have been no problem getting a last minute ticket. I bought about a week before flying from the airport in Dar, and it cost c 220,000 TShs (=c £85) one way. No credit cards taken!
But Mzanza is likely to be a little different, I think, as it's much bigger than Kigoma and has, I understand, 3 big planes flying in and out of it to Dar everyday (Kigoma appears to have one 48-seater a day).
