Just a quick question and I hope that I am wrong. I believe one of the rainy seasons for Tanzania is December,January, February ? Thanks for the help.

Dear Hellas,
High season starts from 1st Jun to Sept. 15 when there is some rains up to Nov 15 then we have pick season up to 31st Jan and then from 1st feb to 1st march and from here we again have rains up to 1st Jun . but this also depend as it is not exactly the dates as shown above.

loosely, the short rains are nov-early dec and the long rains are apr-beg june, however the pattern is not consistent. i have records for here (Mafia) going back some years and some years it's a very wet apr, drier may and no rain in june sometimes (like this year) dryish apr, some rain in may and very wet in june. most months of the year will see some rain but mainly showers rather than a deluge.

What titch said. January and February are usually fairly dry and HOT.

yep, they call feb 'suicide month' as the heat can cause madness followed by suicide (alledgedly)
