Well, I did not here anything bad from anyone about Good Earth Tours, so I have booked their 5 day Ngorongoro adventure safari from Feb 5 to Feb 9, in case anyone wants to join. I am quoted $1460 as a solo booker and that is using lodges instead of camping. If another adds on, it will be less of course.

Ngorongoro Adventure : 5 Days

Day 1 Arusha/Lake Manyara*
Leave Arusha for Lake Manyara (or Tarangire in July-October), game drive in Lake Manyara. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Adventure, Adventure Camping, L, D

Day 2 Lake Manyara/ Serengeti:
After breakfast, we drive to Serengeti. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti, in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed. Adventure Camping, B, L, D.

Day 3 Serengeti: Morning and afternoon game drive in Serengeti, with optional visit to Masai Village. Adventure Camping, B, L, D

Day 4 Serengeti/Ngorongoro
After breakfast, game drive in Serengeti as we drive to Ngorongoro, with optional visit to Olduvai Gorge ($3/person) and optional visit to Masai Village ($50/group). Adventure Camping, B, L, D

Day 5 Ngorongoro/Arusha
Game drive in Ngorongoro crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games, then later drive back to Arusha. B.L.
