This is a very specific question but any help will be appreciated.
Travelling to SA in November and intend to use the Baz Bus to get around from J'burg to Cape Town. One of the highlights of our trip wil be a trip to Kruger, for which we intend to go on a tour.
We are particularly keen to go on a tour which offers the opportunity for night drives and park walks, being on an open vehicle is also a must. Intend to spend 3-4 days in the park and want to avoid unrelated stops at villages etc. on…
I am not sure where to post this message - I think I'll try a European site too. We have a home in Stellenbosch and I have been wondering about a Home Swop, possibly with someone in Europe. What I want is some info if anyone has it on a reliable way of doing this, an agent, or company, or whatever that can vet the other side. Anyone out there with info????

Hello all you traveller.
Can I please draw on your experience re how many days for Victoria Falls?
I am not interested in water activities, mostly viewing the falls, I have read from 3 hours to 4 days.
Cheers
Happy travels
Hi all
I'm currently researching for an article on Shark Cage Diving for a magazine publication in Europe. One avenue I am exploring is the possible link between the increased popularity of shark cage diving excursions and the rise in number of shark encounters by surfers in the past few years.
Anyone who has surfed in South Africa (preferably locals but I'll take anyone!) is welcome to share their opinion with me by answering a few simple questions.

Hello,
I'm planning a trip to South Africa for two weeks in late November. I've got the RT airfare from the US/Joburg done and a rough idea of what I want to see. I'm just having a dilemma as to which direction I should go and how much time in each area. This is what I would like to do:
Joburg - 2 nights (arrival day and then 1 day to tour)
Cape town ( 2-3 nights) City/Eastern Cape ( no interest in Wine Tours)
Durban/Kwazulu (2-3)??? Can you do Balloon tours in Durban area?
I have a time share stay…
Howzit?
I am a US citizen who will be living in South Africa for two years. Any one have advice on Expat Health Insurance. Not only is it required for my temporary residence permit, but because I won't be employed or a student (I have a post-doc fellowship), I need an individual plan.
Most of what I've found doesn't cover so long of a visit, or is part of an existing group plan, or only covers emergency evacuation. I do plan to go to the dentist.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bellamyia
