I'm looking for a cheap flight from South Africa to Spain. Hopefully to Madrid or Bercelona. Or, just to Europe so I can find cheap flight in Europe anyway.
Does anybody know any good way to find this? Better to go and ask travel agency @South Africa? Or, better to buy it online?

My family and I will be traveling in South Africa over December/Jan 2008. We have booked a cabin in Bonnievale (on Route 62) for a week over New Year's Eve. We will be coming from Cape Town.

I have a question regarding transport. Is the only way to get to Bonnievale by hire car? We could hire one, but we don't really want to move much once we get to our accommodation and so it seems a waste to just have it sitting there for a week.

My husband and I are planning to travel to Cape Town next fall for about 6 months. Any recommendations for long-term lodging are appreciated...we'll do a hostel, guest house, B&B...whatever, as long as we can have a private room and it's not too expensive. A relatively central location would also be nice...Thanks for your help!

I'm travelling alone to africa next week. The last week I'm going to Cape Town.
Just starting a thread to see if anyone would like to join me on some tours or just go out one evening.
I'm thinking of doing the "must do" stuff like: Table mountain, townships etc. and also going on a tour to the winelands, go see the jackass penguins and some whalewatching (from shore).

I am planing to travel around South Africa for (at least) 3 months then pop into Namibia and Botswana. I will most of my time do some wwoofing and try to "couch surf" most of the time to be able to enjoy as much as I can the rest of my time. I still having a question. What the best way for me to get around places ? Buying my own car (and selling it after!) ? Renting a car ? Bus pass ? Train ? Hitch-hicking (probably not really safe for me alone!) ? Sharing car costs ?
