Hi
I'll be heading to Cape Town for about three weeks and am looking to rent a place, probably on airbnb.

I'm thinking of renting a place for a few weeks, and my friend recommended "Rondebosch". It looks pretty good but I just wanted to be sure it's a good/convenient location. I'll be planning to take a few day trips out, and am thinking of going to yoga classes that are available there etc during my time. Just wanna stay somewhere relatively safe as I'll be living alone!

Thanks

Hello!

So, I'm planning a surprise honeymoon for my fiancé and I to Africa, and would be next August/September. My ideal amount of time would be 10 days or so. I would like for us to visit the following places:

Cape Town
Kruger National Park
Victoria Falls
Sabi Sand Reserve (Serengeti)
Mt. Kilimanjaro

We would be flying out of the US, and would be more than happy with spending only one day/night at Victoria Falls and seeing Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Has anyone made this kind of trip? I'm looking…

Hi!

I will be heading from Jo'burg to Hoedspruit and am looking for a cheaper alternative as opposed to taking a flight.
I've found that city to city bus services offers it for pretty cheap (150rand), but I was wondering if it was safe to take that bus (to be honest I'm scared of muggers who would take my luggage or that the bus would leave without me if I went out for a break during stops), I've never been to South Africa before, and whether the pick up point(I believe it's park station) is…

Hey, I'm a Scottish 18 year old hoping to move to South Africa in the next 4 months. Needless to say I have no qualifications and only a few months experience in catering, so first of all would be easy enough applying for a 1 year work permit. Second are there any jobs someone like me could go for even if it's bar work or something like that. Any thoughts suggestions advice would be greatly appreciated!
I went travelling South East Asia for 5 months from last November to April this year so i do…

Hi everybody, I'm Eli (Eliana) from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I'd really like to do some wolunteer work with animals (specially monkeys or elephants, but I like all sorts of animals) in South Africa. I've been thinking about this for some months and I've been doing some reserch. I found out that there are some places where you have to pay a lot (and with a lot I mean around 5600 US dolar per month). I'm willing to pay, but I can't afford that amont. I also know that there are some places where…

Hey all,

So I've been trying to roughly plot out our trip for next year, and once we are done with our tours in Zambia, Botswana and South Africa, we are then heading off to Morocco.

We need to get to Marrakech, and from what I can tell, the only way to do this is CT - Dubai - Casablanca - Marrakech. Less than ideal.

Has anyone gone any other way?
It's so annoying having to go 9 hours to Dubai and then another 9 hrs to Casablanca.

Any suggestions or advice welcome :)

Thanks!
