Is there any word when the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe will be operating between George and Knysna again?
I read that it had closed down because of mountain slippage?
Any info would be great, thanks

On this forum it has been mentioned (not too long ago) by some-one that the Choo-Tjoe is operating from George to Mossel Bay in the interim.

Hiya Rudik,
Yep knew that, but was hoping that the north bound trip might be up and running by the time I get there.
As I couldn't find any updated info on the web, since January 2007.
If its not, it doesn't matter....just would have been nice.
