Thanks for previous reply. Could I also ask if I get a Myciti bus to the Civic Centre from the airport would I find a bus on to A Sunflower Stop Backpackers, Green point easily or am I better going for the 200Zar shuttle offer from the hostel? Basically is the Civic Centre chaotic and unsafe?!

Your options are:
1. Take the shuttle with hostel - its actually a reasonable price for a shuttle but still more expensive than the next two options.
2. Take the MyCiti to the Civic Centre and change busses to another MyCiti (I see there's a stop near your hostel: http://myciti.org.za/en/stations-stops/station-stop-information/station-name/hill/). The MyCiti station at the Civic Centre is well run and very safe.
3. Take the MyCiti to the Civic Centre and then take an Uber from there to your hostel.
You should take option 3 unless you're arriving at odd hours - in which case I would take option 1 mainly because I prefer the easy route when arriving at odd hours.
