As of January 2008 I am doing research in Musina for my study in Anthropology which I am attending in the Netherlands. Currently I am having some trouble finding a place to sleep in Musina, for the 2,5 month my research lasts. My budget is very limited and therefore the expensive hostels in the area are quite unaffordable. Could someone on this forum help me getting a place to sleep?

Rob, I have only stayed overnight at the Ilala Country Lodge about 13 km from town. I found the chalets reasonably good and would stop there again on route to Zimbabwe. I do not know whether you could negotiate a deal for the 2 1/2 months you are there. Google for "accommodation in Musina" and you may find something to suit you.
