I was in St Lucia last month. I highly reccomend you to stay in St Lucia Wettlands. As we were 5 people we booked a family unit, around 20 euros per person, per night,. a double room will cost you around 60 euros I think. The place is wonderfull, the owners are very helpfull and brilliant breakfast.

In July last year I paid less than R200 a night for a single in a nice, modern, fully-furnished 2 bedroom serviced apartment. There's a good booking office for accommodation on the main road, on your right as you come into town. I thought St Lucia had the best accommodation options of all the places I visited in SA.
