Driving from Springbok to Sendelingsdrif (South African side), there are two possible routes - one is via Eksteensfontein and Kuboes, the other is via Port Nolloth and Alexander Bay. The first one is shorter but has longer gravel road, the second one is longer but fewer gravel road. But which one is more scenic (in the moth of September)? I'd appreciate any recommendation. Thanks

I suspect both routes are much the same - the landscape up there is pretty raw and desolate. I've done Port Nolloth-Alexander Bay-Sendelingsdrift and there's not much to see. Not quite desert, but close ... inland will be similar.

Enjoy! That's wild country you're heading into.
