I NEED SOME ADVICE :)

I am considering going go Cape Town for 9 days, because my boyfriend is going to live there for 2 months.
Unfortunately I can't stay at his place because he is living at a host. So I was considering staying at Blubottle Guesthouse. Anyone who knows that place?

I am also considering volunteering at St. Georges Girls House in 5 Bute Road Wynberg 7800
Anyone who knows that place and can tell me a little about if it is genuine?

I have never been to South Africa before and therefore I need some advice.
Is it safe for me?

I am looking forward to hear from you guys!

hi julie
i've been to cape town 8 or 9 times, and its one of my favourite places in the world. if you use common sense (like you do at home), yes, cape town is safe for you.

where is your boyfriend going to stay ? cape town is very spread out. blubottle guesthouse is in muizenberg (in the false bay), which is nice and with a beautiful wide beach that is very popular with surfers, but not very central. if your boyfriend is staying in muizenberg, and you want to stay close to him, than this is probably a great place to stay at (i havent stayed there, so cant give a personal recommendation). if your boyfriend is staying somewhere else, you probably also want to stay somewhere else :-).

i dont know st. georges girls house (and i'm not sure if volunteering for 9 days makes sense). from what i see on the web, it does look quite okay http://www.st-georges.org.za/about.html

Thank you so much! Know I feel more confident :)
Okay, maybe volunteering wasn't the right word then, but just to come and visit them ;)

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate! :)
