My husband and I are visiting South Africa for two weeks in November. As many people do, we are hoping to get some input on our itinerary. We want to see as much as possible within the short time, keeping in mind we also don't want to get burnt out! We did something similar when we visited New Zealand, rented a car and visited a bunch of towns for a few days at a time.
One thing I'm wondering about in particular is the Garden Route. I've heard mixed things, but think it would be a great experience. We are also not HUGE safari people (I have been on a couple before, and this will be my husband's first), so that's why we are limiting our time in the park.
Anyway, thanks in advance for all your inputs/suggestions!
