Hi
I'm looking to make a booking for August 2008 to stay at Lower Sabie in the Kruger. I know accomodation runs out quickly so want to make the reservation as soon as possible. The website says reservations open on the first working day, 11 months before.
Does anybody know whether that will be Sat 1st Sept or Mon 3rd Sept?

Saturday 1st.
Office hours on Saturdays are 0800 to 1500.
Telephone bookings are more certain than internet bookings, but getting through can be tricky. (Though at least August is not school holidays here, so there's slightly less pressure... )

I use a booking office (Mpumalanga Promotions) based in Skukuza camp in Kruger itself.
The people live in the Park as well as work there, so they know the place intimately, and are a great source of information. I've always found Lorna a real pleasure to deal with.
