Hi Rossl

The worlds highest Bungee jump @ Bloukrans which is near Storms river or natures valley and not PE. There is an excellant Backpackers called the Wild Tongue in Natures Valley.

I don't know how you will be travelling ? If you have your own car then, I would do the wine tasting tour in Robertson, they also have a great Backpackers there, you can find them in the Lonely Planet or the Coast to Coast - you need to book ahead.

The shark cage diving is done from Hermanus, there are a number of backpackers there, the added bonus is that the whales should be there and Hermanus is an excellant place to see them.

Western Capes best Wild Water River is the Doring River in Clan William. It only runs in the winter after big rain falls. You can contact Wild Thing to see if the river is running. If not, contact Gravity Tours - they do the Palmiet river in Kleinmond.

A good suggestion from Hermanus would be to head towards Robertson and then along the Route 62 - so much better than the N2 to George. I see that you have missed out Oudtshoorn - I would definetly include that on my list - rather spend a night there and give George a scip - nothing much to see there

On good places to stay - grab hold of a coast to coast or alternative route ( if you can find one )
