Dear all
I'm looking to go to Kruger with my gf between v.late November and late December (20th etc) - dates are totally flexible. We're going to do a self-drive next year but first I want to take a tour operator from Joburg (someone who can take us from there and drop us back).
Its her first time in Africa, so we're looking for the basic big five expierience, with a reliable operator, in relative comfort (private room accomodation would be nice).
Does anyone have any recomendations? Any expierience with this kind of tour operator?

I have travelled with Viva Safaris a few years ago and also arranged a trip for my brother last month. Can highly recommend. Accomodation is in Treehouses with private ensuites back on the ground. A great taste of africa.

Here's a list of top safari companies for South Africa... although Bearded Heron might be considered more "mid-range"... their service is excellent and what you get is excellent value for money/for the price.
