Just taking a chance posting on this branch (have posted on the israel branch too) - has anyone flown this airline and this routing? The fare is significantly cheaper than el al or saa, so we are seriously thinking of it. teh layover in addis is 5 hours or so. i will be travelling with my husband and twin boys (20 months) - do you think it's a bad move? what is the addis airport like? any comments would be highly appreciated!

Addis Ababa's Bole airport is big and modern - plenty of room for toddlers to run around and there are a couple of cafes there too.

Bole has undergone massive transformation and modernisation in recent years. As for Ethiopian Airlines - they're amongst the best flying to and from the continent. Flew with them and Kenya Airways - would recommend Ethiopian over Kenya anyday.
