Hello, could anyone recommend a hotel/b&b in the Gardens area of Cape Town? I'm looking to spend around 1000 to 1500 ZAR per night and I'd like to be less than a 10 minute walk to restaurants and bars in the area.

Also, how far along Kloof/Long St. do you need to be to avoid any safety issues at night? Is Wale street basically the cutoff?
