Hi,

#1: Where is a good place to spend with a toddler near Addo? Price woube be under $150 a night.

#2: Where are good places to stay /see that are NOT elephant rides. Of course we will go to Addo. But so many places off the elephant ride stuff.

#3: Are there any true sanctuaries around there? Not what they call themselves but what they do.

Thanks!

Sarah

Hello Sarah,

So exciting that you're going to Addo, it's truly beautiful there.
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but there is a stunning guest house right next to Addo called Woodall Country house, people seem to rave about it and family friends recently came back from there and they really enjoyed it. If you'd like have a look at their website: http://www.woodall-addo.co.za/rates/

The prices differ of course depending on which season you visit. Usually holiday season is naturally more expensive.
There are so many things to do there, there's a Cheetah sanctuary, there's the Sundays river where you can go for a lovely cruise. Here's more info for you http://www.woodall-addo.co.za/let-nature-inspire-lovely-outdoor-attractions-near-woodall-country-house-spa/

Hope this helps a bit :)

Hi Sarah, there are some great lodges in Addo, we stayed there for a few nights, they were very reasonably priced, check it out at sanparks.co.za
