I never saw any inter city buses, anywhere. Plan carefully.

BB, I try and avoid blogs, having no interest in the personal lives of people who once upon a time would have kept their musings/ramblings/good thoughts/bad thoughts/rants/whatever to themselves or at most their family and perhaps a diary-for-"posterity". But that especially applies to those with whom I know I have absolutely nothing in common.

Yes, in general I do agree and, after reading a few of the comments posted on this particular blog, they do seem to attract the particularly rabid specimens but sometimes they are really funny. There was one old geezer (who's url I've lost) who used to make some particularly wry comments over the lip of his "spook n diesel".

Post 11 and 12,

Sorry folks, I was too hasty.

I was referring to all of SA, inter city busses , not inner busses in Joha . And I did see Kombi everywhere but they did not seem to be transporting tourists travelling between cities, backpackers maybe but I did not see them either.

No Roberto, you weren't "too hasty". You did say "inter city". But that's what I didn't understand, so I thought you'd mis-typed. There must be now about half a dozen competing inter-city coach lines such as Greyhound. And when I travel long distance I always seem to pass at least one of them.

ArthurSA,

Thanks. I am glad you corrected me. I do not like to pass on bad info. A month driving in SA and apparently I missed them. I believe now that I did see a Greyhound bus or two. Too concerned driving in the left side, I guess.
