I finally found a good company that will take me to DeWild Cheetah park for only 575... So I will do it..but I want to check up on the company first
Does anyone know anything about Adenventure World!?!? I am a bit concerned they want me to pay the full amount of the tour BEFORE the tour, and they want me to put it into their bankaccount. I told them no, that I might pay a deposit, but I want to be careful of Fraud.
So can anyway tell me if you have heard of them, or if it is wise to pay for these tours ahead of time!?!?!?
Thanks,
Tara

I paid for a lot of stuff beforehand, but I used a credit card. In the case of possible fraud, I would have had the option of reversing the charges. I never had any problems though..

And that's why I am worried because they won't let me use a credit card, has anyone heard of this company!?!?

Sorry, i"m new at this and I need all the help I can get for a three month trip in Southern Africa Jan 9 to
April 9th.

That would be RAND... come on, has no one heard of this company I really want to reserve with them, but I want to hear that they are an actual company first.
Thanks

taritta, how long is this trip? R575 is about USD80 and that doesn't sound right for more than a few hours.

OP Try googling (sic) the company for any references. I just wired $7000.00 to a SA Tour Company! I hope someone meets me in Capetown!

Hi Taritta,
I see on their 'about us' page they say they are a member of Cape Tourism, the local tourism industry body.
Why not check with them and tell them why you want reassurance ?
If Adventureworld is genuine but has off-putting business practices that make visitors feel nervous, Cape Tourism needs to know about it. And if they are NOT genuine, they shouldn't be masquerading as Cape Tourism members!
Either way, Cape Tourism needs to know so that they can sort the company out.
Here's the official Cape Tourism website:
contact cape tourism

email Dewildt and ask them for tour operators that go there.
Dewildt is in/near Pretoria and Cape Town is a long way away.
Here is a large company that does tours to De Wildt. http://www.ulysses.co.za/productDisplay1.asp?id=83</a>
