I've been fortunate enough to visit Kruger and Pilanesburg in the past, but this time I only have a little over 2 days, and I'll only be in Cape Town. I'd really like to do a game drive @ Inverdoon and possibly stay in that area overnight. Does anyone have recommendations for either a tour operator that would be fun, flexible, and not too expensive or a strategy for doing this on my own? Thanks so much for all help :-)

I should have said also that if anyone has a better recommendation for wildlife viewing in that area, I would welcome that as well. I'll have someone who has never been to South Africa with me (and who will probably never have another chance) so seeing the iconic wildlife is tops on our list. Thanks again!

The Western Cape is not a natural habitat for most wildlife, so fly to PE (2 hrs) find a tour from there or hire a car & visit Addo national park. You could visit a game reserve for just 1 night, get 2 game drives in, approx 8 hours total, Shamwari is my recommendation you don't need to be there until lunch-time & I believe they do pick-up from airport ?
