Hi,
I have a permit for treking on 5 Dec. As I am on my own it makes an already expensive trip even more pricy. Is there a group out there I can hook up with to share transport costs??
Thanks

I am traveling in Rwanda in December-Jan and would like to spend New Year in Gisenyi. The accommodation seems to be either very expensive (Serena) or budget and I was hoping for something around the $30-$50 (for a double) mark, with hot water and fairly central (we will be on foot/taxi). We may use the facilities of the Serena for the beach and pool.
Any advice for this and other Gisenyi tips would be gratefully received.
Thanks.
If anyone would like to share transport on 10th December from Musanze town to the National Park in Kinigi please let me know. It costs $100 for a car regardless of the number of people and there is no other way of getting to the start of the trek. If anyone is interested, please e-mail me at jemmahogwood@yahoo.co.uk. Thanks, Jemma
I'm living in Uganda at the moment and am thinking of spending Christmas and New Year in Rwanda. I'm a bit worried about travelling over Christmas though. I'm wondering how difficult it will be to find accommodation and travel around by public transport. Also, how long do things close for over Christmas?
That aside, does anyone have any recommendations as to where I should spend Christmas day? Ideally somewhere where they would be other people to spend the day with as I will be travelling on my…
Hey, I am an 18 year old Australian and am obviously new to this forum, but I need the help of some one who has some knowledge
Next year I am planning on doing a 6 months of backpacking across Europe, however flying via Africa, spending 2 weeks in South Africa (JBay to surf) and stop over in Rwanda for a few days on my way up to Europe, purely to do a Gorilla trek. Just have a few questions about it because I am finding it very difficult to get information on this part of my trip. I am aware of…
If you are going Gorilla Trekking in Parc National Des Volcans in Rwanda on 11 December 2010 and you would like to share transport costs from Musanze (Ruhengeri) to the park entrance (Kinigi) - please contact me at justin.a.richards@gmail.com. Cheers, Justin
We are 8 persons.
We go to Uganda on December, 3rd, and from Uganda we go to Rwanda on December, 10th.
The travel across Rwanda we are make by travel company which has given us the invitation.
We have filled this form on visa reception http:// www.migration.gov.rw/singleform.php
Also have put the invitation.
It was one month ago.
Then once again.
As a result of the visa have given only to three people from eight!
To two more have asked different questions - whether "Correct it is the mailing address?"…
Hi,
Has anyone tracked the Golden Monkeys in Udanda or Rwanda? Feedback on which is better as far as numbers, visibility, habituation? I will be passing by Kisoro en route from Lake Bunyoni to Ruhengiri in Rwanda. I could easily stop for a couple of days at Mgahinga Park, or add this activity after gorilla tracking in Rwanda. Any input is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Looking for things to do in and around Kigali. I found a great place to

My husband and I intend to travel in September 2011 to see the Gorillas in Rwanda and had displeasure with the Rwanda Tourisum Board site although they advised that tickets would be available but never bother to provide any payments details and information was scant. Further emails a week on with no reply nor opened and we lost interest. We contacted greg@amahoro-tours.com, who promptly return an email advised procedure and bank details etc, They AMAOHO TOURS required a deposit of USDL $555 and…
