Is there a Rwanda embassy in Nairobi for visa application? And do International ATMs work in all Rwanda cities (Major ones)?

Is there also an embassy for Burundi in Nairobi?

Ecobank now has a very small number of international ATMs in Rwanda that accept visa. They are in Butare, Kigali and Ruhengeri. They are useful but do not rely on them, often not working and a reasonably low withdrawal limit ie c$300.

Don't know about the OP but I wanted to ask about vehicle regs - ie: does a\ UK vehicle need a carnet or can it get into either country with a TIP? Do both Rwanda and Burundi issue visas at the border for UK cits?

Both Rwanda and Burundi issue visas at the border for UK citizens. 3 months for Rwanda but only 3 days for Burundi if arriving by land. We drive our UK vehicle on a carnet in Rwanda.

My understanding is that it is very difficult, virtually impossible to get a Rwanda visa at the border without prior online application.

Sorry - can you clarify? I know you got in with a Carnet, however will they let you into Burundi and Rwanda without a Carnet or can you get in on a TIP?
