Hello everyone,

I have a quite wierd question for you. I've never been in Africa before and I'm going to Rwanda in one year. How is it in Rwanda? What's a "normal" day like? I don't want to be like a tourist so I will live in a small village and I would like to know how one day in Rwanda looks like...

To my experience, Rwanda is an amazing country; Life is not hecktic it is rather au rallentie, days seem longer. In villages people are friendly, helping, and more welcoming. The weather is charming. Rwandans are excellent for socialising. Public transportation is cheap and hassle-fleely accessible. African traditional farming method is something good to experience. It is also interesting to cultivate own organic food and cook it on fire places that you set-up yourself. If you fancy beer, the local brands are Primus, Mutzig, Amstel, and Bok, plus Waraqi - Uganda produced dry Gin.
