There is the hike through an incredible landscape that can last from 30 minutes to 7 hours, the cultural experience of interacting with truly dedicated guides and trackers, the satisfaction that you have contributed to preserving a species that is close to extinction, and last but not least don't forget the bragging rights. There are many ways to spend $500 of disposable income, but I would rate this above a meal for two at a great restaurant or an overnight stay at a fine hotel The choice is yours.
