Hi all,

We're a group of 8 (family + partners) looking to do some gorilla trekking (and an additional trek in the same area) in either Rwanda or Uganda as part of a trip to the region. I am quite keen on Rwanda - it seems easier (access wise) as we could fly in from Nairobi and then have a relatively short trip from there. I imagine that, scenery wise, the two places would be fairly similar, being essentially the same park but on different sides of the border. Would there be any reasons for going to Uganda instead? It doesn't seem as though there are more security concerns in one place than the other. We'd also look at doing maybe a two day guided trek up one of the volcanoes. Would love to hear if & why people prefer one to the other of these options!

Thanks!
