Hi everybody! I am arriving in Capetown on Sunday, Nov 10th and after 4-5 days I want to move on to Namibia for a tour. I am thinking to get organized with a professional tour operator to go to Etosha and so far I considered Umkulu, which was recommended to me by several friends, but they haven´t answered me yet. Does anybody have suggestions for other serious, but not too upscale/expensive operators who organize 7-10 day tours?
Apart of that, I would like to see the Fish River Canyon, but it wouldn´t fit into my tour and I don´t want to drive there alone. Therefore question n. 2 is if anybody is going there around Nov 15th from Capetown (or, in alternative at the end of the month from Windhoek, going back towards Capetown) and would like some company driving and sharing costs. I´m 49 and originally from Germany, but lived in Italy 25 years and took a gap year now. I like to be with younger people (have traveled with my 23 year old son quite a bit), so don´t hesitate to contact me if you´re20 something and backpacking in the area!

Hi Audrey.
I think your tour will be fantastic one :) Since you need local tour operator, why you don't try Travelpickr ? Post your custom tour request there, then you will be connected to local tour operators. they will send you tour suggestions and quotes, so you can choose among them the most convenient plan for you..
Hope I could help you

Thank you Hanaa, will try the link :-) Actually Umkulu answered me in the meantime, but they have only 7 day trips to Etosha in this moment. So, if anybody's interested in seeing the Fish River Canyon, Sossuvlei etc. let me know!
P.S. What's the situation in Capetown at present, after the demonstrations and looting yesterday? Anyone there at present?!
