My travel partner and I will be doing a self-drive through Namibia next month.
Given that we don't have much time in the country (13 days), I wondering if we could still fit in a brief philanthropic gesture.
Is anyone aware of an orphanage or charity that we might be able to make a brief visit to during our trip, perhaps bringing a few supplies?
Other ideas or suggestions?

Your philanthropic gesture would certainly be appreciated. I do not have any particular organisation in mind but a quick search turned up this website (http://www.charity-charities.org/Namibia-charities/Namibia.html) with a few charities listed in various towns in Namibia. Take your pick and go put a smile on someone's face ;-)
