I'll be travelling through Namibia, Botswana and South Africa - am I best to get local SIM cards in each country I go through, or are there good roaming options available between the countries?
Any recommendations for prepaid mobile phone providers (for SMS and data use) would also be appreciated.

Hi, I just arrive in windhoek three days ago via Joburg (for work) and I don't think sim cards are transferable across countries. For Namibia, I've been told MTC is the best for coverage and it was really easy to get, although you might want to get the guys in the shop to set it up for though, as I found the data activation a little complicated.
