Just out of curiousity - as we will drive through Namibia for a few days this summer, and I was looking at the map while looking forward - does anyone know what the 'War memorial' is on road C15, that leads from Mata Mata border crossing to Stampriet?

I haven't been to that part of Namibia, but I did a bit of Googling...
This book gives an account of the road +'East of Mariental'+ between +Stampriet+ and the +Mata Mata</i> border crossing.
It mentions a number of historic sites along the C15.
And another site shows photos of the German war cemetery at Gochas (scroll down about 1/3rd of the page).
