I'm a peace corps volunteer serving in South Africa and a few of us would really like to see fish river canyon next july (2014) before we head back to the states. However, apparently the bookings are full for the hike.
Based on my research, permits can be purchased for a group of at least 3 people but no more than 30 people.
My question is, does anyone have a permit that they haven't maxed out yet, aka with less than 30 people on it? I'm not entirely sure how the permit process works, but I'm trying to make any and all efforts to get in somehow.
