Giving credit card details to Namibia Wildlife Resorts

Hi I paid via Visa/Barclaycard, and phoned up Barclaycard and told them only to accept the payments I had first authorised, this worked fine and nothing untoward happened to me, try to use you credit card rather than debit card, as normally the credit card carries some sort of protection against fraudulant use...good luck, hope all goes fine! have a great time its a brilliant country!

Yes, from my experience it is fairly common way to proceed in Namibia. I also sent my credit card number by fax, but sent the security code separatly (by email) if I remember well. I also did the same for 2 other booking in Namibia and didn't had any problem. I would say fax is still better than email though.
