Hi,

We just booked our three nights in Etosha.
June 15th in Okaukujejo
June 16th Halali
June 17th Namutoni

If someone wants to share to split costs...reply or pm me.

It's 200 for the campsite (max 8 pers. and we are only 2) + 100 per person.

cheers,Koelan

Wish we were there, we shared with people one of the nights and that helped.

What is the 100 per person? Is that the daily park conservation fee, or something to do with camping?

Is there still a daily fee to pay on top of camping? Entry fee?

normally the fees at the campsite in NWR are a basic price for the campsite +fees per person. That is outside of the daily fees for the park

We may be going back to Etosha this summer and if our travel dates line up with yours, will pm.

Although the following is off purpose for your post wonder if you could help?

Found info about the daily charge for being in the park here: http://www.namibian.org/travel/lodging/fees.htm

Seems like we paid ours in Windhoek back in 2004. Can't one pay the entry fees at the gate?

Remember that we paid fees and got one night's camping reservation then paid as we stayed for camping after that. Still possible?

yup, these wore the fees for the entrance. You can definitly pay the fees at the gate (in fact, at the camps if I remember correctly). We booked or campsites and paid for them in advance, and once there had to pay or entrance fee in Okakeujo...

Not sure I get your question: Remember that we paid fees and got one night's camping reservation then paid as we stayed for camping after that. Still possible? ...
