Vilankulo to nampula and nampula to Pemba

I am not sure about direct bus from Vilanculo to Nampula. Once did it, but with overnight in Quilimane. From Nampula to can take a bus (like Mecula). It takes around 7 hours.

No direct buses as far as I know, we overnighted in Chimoio and then again in Quelimane. Brace yourself, it's quite a journey! Nampula to Pemba isn't too far. We got a bit tired of the public transport, so we approached truck drivers, most of them would let us ride in the cab with them for a small fee, infinitely better than a stifling chapa/bus. Oh and if you're going to Ilha de Mozambique, you have to stay at Ruby backpacker, amazing place!
