Hello,

Wondering if someone could give me dialing instructions for calls from within Mozambique:
1. Calls from fixed line to mobile
2. Calls from mobile to fixed line
3. Calls from fixed line to international
4. Calls from mobile to international

Also, I'll be visiting for a week. Will I be able to purchase a SIM card in the airport and immediately add funds and use it in my unlocked iPhone? How about doing the same, but with an internet data plan? I've heard that in some African countries there is a couple of day wait to register SIM cards to foreigners.

Hey! When I was in Mozambique a couple of years back you could buy SIM cards everywhere. Almost literally... there were tons of individual sellers in the streets with vests of the mobile companies, selling SIM cards and recharge cards. So, at least back then, you could buy and use immediately, without having to register. I am not sure what the status is right now (specially if you need a micro sim) but I am positive it would be easy to purchase and start using right away.
