Hi Guys, I am new to this forum, but has just started traveling in Mozambique. Have found this divine spot (town)called Bilene, about 180kms north of Maputo tar road all the way. We are backpacking and was looking for an overnight spot. Found a place called Carioca Inn, owners are marvelous. Willing to discount prices overnight and a lot of information and traveling tips for Mozambique. Lovely beaches and quiet. Next stop Vilanculos. Will keep up to date.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Bilene? :)
Okay the beach on the lagoon is pretty good...... don't think I would want to be there in summer South African school holidays.

seasandsun, any updates? We are heading to Mozambique in a few days and we're still working out the details of our itinerary but we're planning on sticking to the southern part of the country. Any info would be great! Thanks and safe travels.
