Just to let my travelling friends know that the launch of our association was a resounding success. 1000s of people attended, a good time was had by all, the bands and the painters were fantastic. The kids learnt about cats and had their faces painted and the adults donated - we netted several thousand dirhams on the day from ordinary Moroccan people. We are so optimistic that we shall be able to help. It was so wonderful to see Moroccans and expats working together - one British guy must have…

This just popped up. If you could spend the 5 days before Christmas in Morroco considering logistics of a flight form the US the up to Spain for Christmas, where would you go? We love history, culture and good food.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a solo female traveller, and have been travelling around Morocco for the past 7 weeks quite easily.

Mind you, I haven't ventured too far off the very well beaten tourist trail.

Once I reach Merzouga, however, I am very interested in a day trip out to Gara Medouar.

Has anyone attempted to travel from either Merzouga, Erfoud or Rissani to Gara Medouar? If so, how did you get there (grand taxi? local bus? local tour operator? walking?), and how much was the round trip?

Thanks…

Hello

We arrive at Agadir aerport at 6PM, as we travel with our children i don't think we will go very far anymore that day. Could anyone advise us a nice place for the night? We're not particularly interested in Agadir itself so it might as well be 10-20km outside. The next day we continue towards Sidi Ifni.

Thanks!
Hans

Hi! I will be staying in Marrakech for 3 months, and would like to rent an apartment in the city. Any advice on where to look (online or on the ground)? Apart from AirBnB, what websites or Facebook groups should I look into to find apartments.

Thanks for any and all help!

Hello.

Does Poste Maroc have a good reputation for international deliveries??

I'm considering sending some of my unwanted cycle touring gear home to NZ from here in Morocco.
It has 2 months to get there, so speed is no concern.

Would be nice to lighten the load by a few kilos and also less stressful trying to "make weight" when I have to check in at the airport. No need for camping gear or camp kitchen and all my winter gear is no longer needed.

Do they provide a good, reliable and safe…

I'm visiting Marrakech for two weeks in November for the prime purpose of finding suppliers for my online business I'm about to start. I will mainly be selling textiles and home decor from Morocco (pretty much what you can buy at the souks).
I don't speak Arabic or French, and I have no contact in Marrakech.
Will I be able to find suppliers that are able to send me goods on a regular basis? What areas should I be searching in? I will fill up a couple suitcases for my first inventory but would like…

Its been a wild ride for me in booking a solo trip from Marrakech for trekking and driving into remote towns in the High Atlas. My goal is to stay off the tourist route and decided to hire a guide from "Safe Tours" This company has a website and good online reviews but nothing on Trip Advisor or on this forum (However I think I found them originally on a post but can't find it anymore). They proposed an expensive trip (SOLO) for 7 days for around 2K exploring remote towns and daily treks…

Hi. My partner and I have 9 days off in mid October. We have a baby who is nine months old. We are both quite adventurous, but also enjoy a bit of luxury. We would like to go somewhere reasonably easy to get to, but that will be reasonably warm.

We are thinking about going to Morocco, but also open to other places. Any suggestions?

If you were going to go to Morocco with a baby, where would you go? Marrakesh, Tangier, Fes, Casablanca?? Any brilliant things to see or great places to stay…
