How easy is it to find a budget tour from Marrakesh if I wanted to go on a 4-5 day tour of the atlas area en route to Erg Chicaga? Ideally, I am looking for a low-cost tour. Most tours I have seen online at least is for 2-3 days. Any suggestions with a tour group? I am assuming it is easy to book in Marrakesh.
Hi there,
I am planning a trip to visit a friend in Morocco and we have agreed to split the ticket. Thusfar we can't figure out a way for him to transfer money to me (I'm in the USA). None of the money transfer sites, or PayPal seem to allow money to go that direction. I'm concerned that if I'm given a sum of dirhams while I'm there I won't be able to convert it on the way back home without a hefty commission. Does anyone have experience with sending money out of Morocco? Thanks!
Hello,
My girlfriend and I are planning to travel to Morocco in February 2018, for just one week!
We know it will be colder than the later spring months and beyond, but it will be much warmer than at home in the UK!
We plan to fly in to Marrakesh and spend a few days there, but would then like to explore some more of the country, either the desert or the Atlas depending on your recommendations, then we could either return to Marrakesh to fly home or fly out from elsewhere if this fitted with an…
My girlfriend and I are going to Fez the last week in December. Anyone recommend a good restaurant where the locals go and a reputable carpet shop? I don't know if I'll buy but I want to keep my options open. I also hear many of Fez's carpet dealers are as ruthless and unscrupulous as they were when I last visited Fez in 1978.
I am thinking of doing two nights in the desert because even though it isn't the saraha it is as close as I have been. I just wonder if it is really worth it. I hear good things but just not sure what that second day is like?
I have from Wednesday morning off the Fez overnight bus until Friday morning for either a taxi or the 8 am bus back to Marrakesh-- so I figure I have two nights. Anyone have experience or thoughts on the number of nights in the dunes?

Hello,
I will have a about a week in Morocco and plan to base myself in Tafraoute and explore via bike and on foot. Keen to get to Tafraoute as soon as possible but guess the taxi from the airport would be around a 100 Euros? Is my best option to get a hostel for the night in Inezgane (any recommendations?) and then the bus (about 3pm?) the following day? I may well land in Agadir airport at about 11:30 am and wondering if worth paying for a taxi to Inezgane bus station direct and then…
I believe it was taken in Fes but I can't find out where exactly.

Hello!
I'm planning on travelling to Morocco between May to Septemeber and staying in Marrakech for the first time. I am super interested in experiencing the Hammas and was wondering what are the most affordable ones (max 200MAD). Are they all separated by gender? What are some things I should know, bring, or be aware of before going? Thanks in advance!
Hi, I am currently booked into a hostel in Fes for 5 nights and from there I am unsure of which is the easiest route to travel by public transport- either Fes- Chefchouen - Moulay Bousselheim; or, Fes - Moulay Bouselheim. Which is the easiest route to get either trains, or buses?
Fes - Chefchouen - Moulay Bousselheim means I would have 2 nights in Chefchouen
Fes - Moulay Bousselheim means I would have extra 2 nights in Fes and could do a day trip over to Chefchouen or I could do an overnight in…
I am planning my trip and could use some guidance. First, I know that I am slamming A LOT in and it is A LOT of travel. I don't mind travel and want to see as much as I can, given it will probably be my only time to Morocco. I also am not a shopper. So some of you might hate on my plan...and if things go wrong I just drop my plans so this is "best case" scenario.
I am trying to decide which way to go. I land and take off in Marrakesh. I am thinking of either going
overnight Train to…
