Hi, can anyone advise me on the best way to get from Marrakech to Fes? I would like to see, and preferably do some hiking in the Atlas mountains on the way. I am travelling alone, don't really want to drive. Are there any short tours I could join? I am not familiar with the different regions of the mountains so again advice appreciated.

From Fes, I need to go the Casablanca. How is best to do this, train? If so, do I need to book in advance etc.?

Finally how much time should I allow for…

Hi,

I'd like to ask, does anyone know what are the 8 categories that Morocco accepts, when applying for carte de sejour?

The UK gov site mentons that there are 8 categories, but it doesn't list what they are. Can anyone please expand?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I have a week in Morocco arriving and departing from Marrakesh in mid February. I would like to spend a couple of nights some place else. I would be on a budget but would have liked to get a bit of trekking done very inexperienced so maybe just a few day treks. Would Imlil or Ourzazate be good options for this..They seem pretty close I gather Essaouira is a beach town type place. Also could anyone recommend a good hostel or some cheap accommodation in Marrakesh thanks very much

Hi,

I'm going to Marakech for the first time later this month, a bit of a spur of the moment. I would love som recommendations on where to stay - a riad in a good location to explore the city for a few days. Budget up to 75 EUR / night (around 750 MAD), but flexible. I hope to find some place comfortable, with a Morrocan "feel".

I'm a solo female traveller.
Thank you

Planning my initierary. I would like to see the recommended Tizi n'Test. But I am doing this part of the route by public transport.

Are there public transport passing through Tizi n'Test?

Is it safe to go there in January?

Is it open at all in January?

Do the pubic transport stop somewhere where I can get out and look at the scenery for a while? Like a food stop for instance?

Are there several buses etc a day so I can get of an earlier one and back on a later one?

Thank you a lot for help…

Hi

Asking on behalf of a friend going on a surfing trip with university and just doing some last minute checks. What she's most concerned about is what is appropriate to wear on the beach and in town...are shorts and short tops ok on the beach and then pull on a long skirt and top for going into town. It's mostly in Taghazout and Agadir.

Hi. I would like to see the sand dunes of Sahara. Erg Chigaga may be the best place to do so to fit in with my initierary. Because of low budget and a tendency to motion sickness a several day camel tour is out of the question. A camp or hotel by the dunes, close enough to watch the dunes and walk in them would be nice. Cannot find any such place online or in guides. Any of you know? Or have a recommandation for budget way to experience the desert dunes? Seems Erg Chebbi has that kind of…

Hi guys,

I want to rent an apartment or room in a shared house in a Moroccan city for 2 months and learn French.
I will find a French school/french private tutor/do language exchange.
I need some advice on which city please :D

The most important things for me are: The city being convenient & somewhere I can learn French. This rules out villages and towns (since they speak more French in cities)
Basically I am looking for a cheaper, compact and liveable city. It doesn't have to be particularly…
