Is there a ferry between Ceuta-the Spanish enclave located within Morocco and Algeciras.

I have read there is and then I have read that it will be discontinued. Does anyone know?

I only have 8 days in Morocco (I know it is not enough) and will be flying into Marrakesh and out of Fez.

I would like to do a couple of days in Marrakesh and then (if possible) a 2 day trip/tour into the desert/mountains which includes dropping you off in Fez - is this possible, if so, who should I book this with and how much would it cost.

I would then like top spend 4 days around in and around Fez - suggestions would be great as to what to see around Fez.

Hi, heading back to Morocco for a month this summer - end of August, start of September. Just a couple of questions.

I know it's gonna be hot, last time I was here was July, and I just about managed....anyway

1. Should I bother with a sleeping bag, even for the mountains?

2. Is it silly to contemplate Merzouga or any of the desert spots at this time of year (say early September)?

I am planning a trip with my boyfriend to Morocco for two weeks this summer.

As neither of us have been there I was hoping for some insider tips for must see places. Ideally we would spend some time in the city soaking up some culture, art, architecture, people spotting and some time on the coast soaking up some rays. We would rather avoid really touristy areas but up for any good suggestions.

I'm looking for advice regarding places to see and the best itinary travelling between Fez and Marrakesh.

I'm going to Morocco for just over a week in June, arriving in Fez the morning of Saturday 9th June and flying out of Marrakesh the morning of Sunday 17th June.

I want to spend a couple of days in each of these cities but am stuck on how best to use my remaining time.

I have phone numbers for places listed in LP, but I do not speak good French/Spanish nor Arabic, so would rather email with the help of babelfish language translator. I have wirtten some more info below so that you know where I have tried. We can afford up to £50 but don't want to spend that much unless the place is really special.
