hello. We are going to morocco in 2 weeks, and I have read every tour book I can find. I have light brown long hair, down to my butt. I am going with my husband. Anyways, they mostly say that it isn't necessary for foreign women to cover their hair. I was thinking, since my hair is so long, it might be best. I don't mind covering my hair. I want to do the most respectful thing. Also, I don't want alot of male attention. I was thinking, maybe I only need to cover it when we are in…

Hi all -

I will be in Morocco in August and would love to take advantage of the waves. However, I've heard that during the summer the waves are pretty flat. Can anyone recommend a good spot to go to during August with waves, that is chill and where I can rent a good quality board?

Thanks for the much needed help

hi
Has anyone done this tour? i'm thinking about booking it, a friend mentioned that the level of accomodation was poor and that she wouldn't let her dog stay in it. I have heard good things about imag and think that my friend is being a bit "princessy" about the whole trip. can anyone share their experience with imag?

Ahlan. We're going to the music festival in Fes in June. Does anyone know if it's better to buy a festival pass in advance, or if it's simple to get tickets for concerts once you arrive. Any other tips on the festival? Shukran.

Hello,

I have been looking for several weeks for a budget Riad or Hotel to stay in that is near Djemma el Fna. I have tried the ones already recommended on this site (Islane, Tazi, Ali, Essaouira, Sherazade) as well as many others. There are 3 of us and we would like something clean and safe. We will be there the very beginning of June and would like to stay under 60 Euro.

Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi All,
I'll be heading over to Morocco for a few weeks in November as part of my honeymoon and I'm after some suggestions on accommodation. Thinking of staying in Casa for around three or four nights before venturing on and would like to stay in a riad that has a really nice relaxed vibe and want cost the earth (relatively of course). Any suggestions? Also, towns off the main tourist route that are well worth a visit.
Thanks!!

Next month is my first trip to North Africa! I'll be in Marrakech for a week, but by myself. Is it still OK to venture out at night as a single female...to dinner or to the main areas....are taxi's easy to find? Not looking for any attention, just trying not to be holed up in the hotel the whole week. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I'll be arriving in Imlil on Friday 18th with the aim of organising a trek for around 4 or 5 days. I'm flexible about the exact route as I'm planning on asking around and taking advice from the locals when I get to Imlil, although I'm hoping to include an ascent of Toubkal if possible. If anyone is interested in joining me, and sharing the costs of a guide etc. then please get in touch.

About me, I'm male, 35 and from the UK. I'm a reasonably experienced backpacker/trekker, recently back home…
