I have a question for those who have travelled Morocco a bit. Have you ever come across any folks who claimed to be Algerian? I know that the border has been closed for decades, but I also know that closing a border that is several hundred miles of desert is easier said than done (just ask the U.S.), so I'm that there have to be some scattered around. It is also a highly political issue and they may not make themselves known, but I wonder if anyone knows of any concentration of Algerians…

Hey all I have some Morocco questions.

How much is a cab from Rabat airport to the city center?
Can you expect the kind of annoying touts at the airport or is getting a cab less of a pain there?

How much is a cab from Casablanca airport to this address - 139 Boulevard d'Anfa? I think this is in the business district. Again, what's the tout situation?
I know there is a train, but I hate lugging luggage on a train.

What is the best way to get from Marrakech to Ouarzazate? I've heard about these…

What is a must to see in Morocco that can be done in 6 days?
We have our own Jeep and know how to drive in Sand and foreigner countries (have our own mechnics on board, too:)) Are therefore very flexible. We do not need a luxury hotel neither.

Any tipps?

Hello! We will be travelling by Jeep thru Morocco in Mid of September and will arrive from Spain. Can anybody help us with recommendations of Fast Ferries from Spain to Morocco on a Sunday? We do not mind if it would be Malaga or Almeira or whatever there is.

Further, what is the weather like in Morocco in September anyways?

hey all,
ive just found out about the gnaoua festival in morocco and really want to check it out the problem seems to be finding some cheap accomodation in essaouria. does anyone have any suggestions? i heard that you can camp during the festival but i cant find any info on this online. I need accomodation for 3 ppl, as cheap as possible (seems like a huge request by the prices im seeing) if anyone has any ideas id really appreciate it.

My wife and I are heading to Morrocco for 2 weeks in early June. Can't wait...

A few questions...

1) Middle or High Atlas - both look really pretty. I'm interested to get people's thoughts on which might be better to visit. Realistically we'll only go to one of the two. My wife and I like to get out there, but are not seasoned hikers/trekkers.

2) Day trips. We plan to do a couple of day trips - Cascades Ouzoud, Ait Benhaddou, Ourzazate - OK to do alone, or better with a tour…

Can anyone suggest a good place to watch the cup final in Marrakech on Sunday?
Doesn't have to be a bar, but all the better if it is!

I'm deciding between going to Morocco or Tunisia for two weeks at the beginning of June. Do you have any recommendations? How safe is Morocco for a single female? I'd also prefer not to be harassed constantly. How agressive are the men?
