Can anyone recommend an airport or nearby airport hotel in Casablanca?
I am looking for recommendations for the best city to use as a base for a short (1 or 2 night) camel trek for 2 people with no prior camel experience. We will be using public transport - train or bus or taxi. Travelling in November, 2007. We have not planned our itinerary, so are open to all suggestions. Thank you.
We are three girls (21,21,20) going to Marakkech between these dates and wanted to know if anyone is going there around that time. It would be nice to meet people there, so let me know :o)

My husband and I are going to Marrakech on 30 October plan to stay for 3 nights to do some shopping then take bus to Ouarzazate stay 1 night there or at Tinehir then travel to Todra Gorge stay for 2 nights, we have book a camel trip to stay 2 nights in dunes, we are then not sure where to stay for 1 night which will be somewhere on our way to Dades Gorge were we want to stay 2 nights.
We have then booked 3 nights at Kasbah Ellouze at Tamdaght, when we leave there we want to stay a night somewhere…
Hey guys,
Erm I dont usually ever use forums, but I really really need some advice. Erm I booked holiday to Morocco, Marakech like a month ago and its due to take place end of this month. I was really excited about it, but the recent security alert being put to maximum and all news tabloids talking about bombings and stuff in peak tourist places is making me wonder if I should go. See we are three girls who will be travelling. The hotel we have picked has good reviews in terms of being in a safe…
I was hoping to squeeze a visit to Chefchaouen into my packed itinerary for my August trip...can anyone tell me about their experiences in this unique town? Where to stay? and also how long the Bus trip to/from Tangier is? Also is there a bus i could take direct from chef to Asilah? cant find much bus info online. I have heard about the notorious kif and whilst I dont smoke this doesnt bother me!
Is there any beaches near Essaouria without so much wind?
We are not interesssted in wind surfing, we just want to relax and swim in the water..
Finding this seems like an impossible mission ...
We'll be in Marrakech for five days in late October, and will have our then almost five year old daughter with us (very active and talkative).
I found many lovely Riads recommended on Tripadvisor, however, it seems really difficult to find a child friendly one. We perfer to stay in a place where people (owners and other guests alike) welcome kids or at least are not bothered by the presence of kids.
I am most grateful for any recommendations!
Thanks…
When I booked my trek online with Morocco Tour & Trek I was impressed by Angela's speed and efficiency in organising my trek. My luggage was lost en route to Morocco and I arrived in Marrakech a day late without my trekking gear. So I didn't think there was any chance I'd be going on the planned trek. Angela and Mohamed of Morocco Tour & Trek turned up at the airport 2 days in a row to meet me. Within 2 hours of my arrival they had me kitted out with borrowed gear and I was on my way to the…
My girlfriend and I will be flying into Marrakesh and know that we want to visit the coast (Essaouira) and we also want to get into the desert. We are wondering the best way to go about this. We have booked some hotels in Marrakesh and Ess. but after that we are in the air.
Should we rent a car for the whole time or just portions?
What are peoples' thoughts on Ourzazate? Is this the best place to use as a jumping off point for hte desert?
Is trying to go to Fez a ridiculous idea? I feel like…
