I just found this from a link on another thread. It sounds discouraging, but I'm wondering how "bad" the situation actually is. I've been advised to go to Marrackech, Tangier, Casablanca or Rabat, Fes, Meknes, where hotel and restaurants shouldn't be a problem. The information was posted on FAQ. Curious to hear your feedback.

I am planning to go from Casablance to Chefchaouen by bus. Do you know any time schedule? Any overnight bus? How long? Also, after travelling Merzouga, I want to go from Rissani to Marrakesh via Todra George and Draa Valley by a chartered taxi. Can any tour company or anyone in Rissani arrange this route? I am alone. Marrakech - Essoueira - Merzouga - Ouarzarate - Marrakech in 10 days

Hi we are leaving for Morocco on Friday and desperately want to go to Essoueira but also Merzouga to stay in the desert for a couple of nights. We're wondering now whether or not to go to Zagora instead so that we do not have to go back on ourselves along the same route through the Dadas Gorge especially as we are limited on time. me and my freind are catching the ferry from spain to morroco and making our way to fez.....we are on a pretty tight budget and were wondering if anybody knows of a good place to stay in fez that is cheap..........we will only be there for a few days...thanks!!

Does anyone know what will be the best alternative to get from Barcelona to Tangier, Morocco? Actually, we consider spending a few days in Asilah and we do have already our plane ticket booked to Barcelona ... Is there a cheap fly company going this way? Is ferry an alternative we shall consider?

I'm meant to be in Barcelona on Thursday 20th December, but I've got a few extra days before hand so I'm thinking about doing a mini road trip before hand. Is it worth flying to Marrakesh on the Sunday. Would it be worth doing, and maybe heading up to Tangiers?

What would be the best way to travel? What should I see? Is it worth it?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Four of us are spending a long weekend in Marrakech (4 nights/5 full days). Should we spend the whole stay in Marrakech or is there somewhere within a reasonable travelling distance that we could stay overnight (am hoping for tent in the desert type thinig). We are celebrating my husband's 50th - suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Has anyone stayed here? If so, how did you book it? I've saw their website, and they have good reviews on tripadvisor, but cannot find a site where I can book direct.
