For a Belgian television program we are reliving the journey of a 16th century adventurer in Morocco. The journey is the following:
Sebta - Tetouan - Chefchaouen - Bab Taza - Fes el Bali - Ourtzah - Fes.
I was wondering if it is possible to do this route by foot. Are the roads safe? Is there a lot of traffic? Can it be done without a guide? ...
Any informations, tips and advice is welcome!

Yes, it's doable with a map.
Depending the roads, more or less traffic.
It's safe enough to do that but using your common sense is always needed.

Hi. Yes, I'm sure it's possible, but the route would be Sebta - Tetouan - Chefchaouen - Taza - Ourtzah - Fez. The roads are safe, there's not a lot of traffic and I don't think you'd need a guide. But where will you stay en route?

It will be better to catch a tent with you and use it for the night.
At least by security because it's not always easy/possible to find an accommodation for sleeping.
