My wife and I will be arriving in Casablanca Sept 3. We planned on just spending one night then proceeding to Fez. We would like to know if anyone has a hotel recommendation near the train station. We will have flown from the west coast of the US and would like to minimize transfers. Nothing fancy, just reasonable and close to the station. Thanks

Yes, hotel Al Walid is perfect, right in the front of Casa Voyageurs.

....... it's next to nigh impossible to find a price for the Al Walid since the nearby best value Ibis closed for refurbishment, if staying here prepare for a surprise when settling your account. If using hotels in Morocco near travel infrastructure (railway-stations etc.) consider the Ibis chain of hotels for value, not the cheapest but conveniently located and value with a good standard of service.

For a low cost no frills mix of standards, good for a short stay, a typical Moroccan hotel used mainly by travelling Moroccans and frequent visitors to Casablanca using trains, try Hotel Terminus...

Patob, just so you understand, there is a train station located in the basement of the airport. From there you will travel by train to the Casa Voyageurs train station.
As Khamlia said @2, "Yes, hotel Al Walid is perfect, right in the front of Casa Voyageurs."
