I tried this yesterday, but it was kind of last minute. Is anyone in Meknes wanting to go to Volublils tomorrow morning? I'm still completely jet lag I'm sure, but if I got an alarm clock I imagine I could be up for a 9ish departure. Anyone down?
If not, does anyone who's been to Meknes know where a good spot to do the Grands taxi thing is? It's my second day in Morocco and I'm still kind of nervous about it all; I've never Grands Taxi'd it before and am unsure about pricing/haggling/what's fair/general how-tos.

Have you got the Lonely Planet - the place to catch Grand Taxis to Volubilis is clearly marked on the map in it and is different to the main grand taxi stop. The taxi drivers there may offer you a private trip stopping for around 1 hour in Volubilis and 1hour in Moulay Idriss. You probably need to haggle for this. If you are sharing a taxi the price for each seat is set so you won't need to haggle. If there are not enough people to share with going to Volubilis you can share a taxi to Moulay Idriss (around 7Dh a seat - can't remember exact price) and then take your own taxi to Volubilis which is only 5km away (no more than 50 Dh for the whole taxi).
